C-FORTS 96 / HOW IT IS BUILT

Containerized outside.
Expandable inside.

C-FORTS combines a steel container transport frame with an internal aluminum structure and folding insulated panels. The transport platform and the opened working space do different jobs.

Steel transport frame

The outer container frame provides the container-based starting point for movement and handling. The equipped load still determines the final transport plan.

An insulated working enclosure

An internal aluminum structure and insulated folding panels expand into a rigid workspace. Interlocking profiles and weather stripping help protect the enclosure, while the selected HVAC package supports the conditions needed inside.

An interior that can evolve

Room divisions, wall-panel replacement and updated equipment can support a new assignment. Changes are coordinated with the structure and installed services.

This unfurnished concept uses a center hallway to connect four rooms. It gives you a starting point for discussing room sizes, access and equipment.

How do the partitions work with a folding shelter?

The deployed interior and the packed arrangement are designed together. Fixed partitions stay within the central frame; hinged partitions and selected furniture must stow within it with clearance for the folding walls and equipment. A room plan is the starting point for that coordinated design.
