Mobile Offices Supporting the Reed Point Response
FORTS's original project account describes mobile office shelters supporting response teams following the June 2023 incident near Reed Point, Montana, on the Yellowstone River. The reported role was a place for planning, communication and coordination alongside the field operation.

Space for the work around the response
The company account identifies HVAC, electrical supply and an enclosed interior as features of the deployed offices. It describes teams using the space to review information and organize response work.
The deployment is retained here as a company-reported example of mobile office use. The shelters' role should be understood as workspace support, separate from claims about the cause of the incident or the outcome of the environmental response.
Define the workspace before the assignment
For a new field office, identify the people who need workstations, meeting space or private rooms. Establish which activities can share an area and which need separation.
Coordinate the proposed location with the organization directing the operation. Review access, power, service equipment and customer-supplied communications connections as part of the facility brief.
Plan the facility and its movement together
FORTS can supply a shell or develop a fitted office package with selected furnishings and building systems. Transport and handling should reflect that equipped configuration and its receiving site.
Bring the team size, intended work, location and timing to FORTS. The mobile-office and utility-command resources provide current examples for that planning discussion.
